On February 20, 2013, Sylvia Freygner hosted the fifth Women’s Salon. Successful women from the arts and cultural sectors gathered to discuss the evening’s theme: „Ancient Chinese Secrets of Female Power | Art as Women’s Creative Force.“
It was an inspiring evening of discussion, during which Dr. Agnes Husslein-Arco (Director of the Austrian Gallery Belvedere), gallerist Dr. Heike Curtze, and bestselling author Christine Li shared the often challenging and steep paths women face on their journeys to success.
The evening continued with a vernissage showcasing works by four renowned artists: Franziska Hünig, Margit Marnul, Carol Huebner-Venezia, and Anee Mann.
Among the participants in the discussion were moderator Arabella Kiesbauer, Member of Parliament Alev Korun, Ilona Marschitz (SIC invent Austria GmbH), Dr. Heidrun Kopp (RZB), and Elisabeth Pechmann (Ogilvy & Mather).
